What we cover

Everything your car is likely to need

Where something is arranged through a supplier rather than done in house, such as windscreens and ADAS, we say so rather than pretending otherwise.

  • Servicing and maintenance

Interim, full and manufacturer schedule servicing, with your intervals kept in our records rather than yours.

  • Diagnostics

Proper fault finding on engine, electrical and management systems. We tell you the cause, not just the warning light.

  • Mechanical repairs

Clutches, timing belts and chains, drivetrain, cooling, exhausts and the rest of it.

  • Brakes and suspension

Discs, pads, calipers, shocks, springs, bushes and steering, plus geometry where it is needed.

  • Tyres

Supply and fitting, often same day. Windscreens and ADAS recalibration arranged through our suppliers.

  • Tracking and four-wheel alignment

Checked and set after new tyres or suspension work, or when the car pulls to one side or wears its tyres unevenly.

  • MOT preparation and repair

Class 4 and Class 7 MOT, including the preparation beforehand and any repairs needed to get through it.

  • Collection and return

Within approximately 3 to 5 miles, if you cannot get to us in south Liverpool during working hours.

  • Same day where possible

Servicing and tyres often go through the same day. It depends on diagnosis and parts, and we say which when you book.

  • Clear communication

You hear what is wrong, what it costs and what can safely wait, before anything is done.

How it works

Three steps, no surprises on the bill

  1. 1

Tell us what it is doing

Ring or send the form. A description of the noise, the light or the date it is due is plenty to start with.

  2. 2

    We diagnose it properly

The car goes on a ramp and we find the actual cause, rather than replacing parts until the symptom goes away.

  3. 3

    You decide before we start

We tell you what it needs, what it costs and what can wait. Nothing happens until you have said yes.

Questions

What customers ask before they book

Will I know the cost before you start?

Yes. We diagnose the fault, tell you what it needs, what it costs and what can safely wait, and nothing gets done until you have said yes.

Can you do it the same day?

Often, yes, particularly for servicing and tyres. It depends on what the diagnosis turns up and whether the parts are on the shelf, and we will tell you either way when you book.

Do you do MOTs?

We cover Class 4 and Class 7 MOT for cars and vans up to 3,500kg, including preparation beforehand and any repairs needed to get the vehicle through.

Can you collect my car?

Within roughly 3 to 5 miles, yes. If you cannot get to us in south Liverpool during working hours, say so when you book and we will sort the movement out.

Is there a courtesy car?

Courtesy vehicles are available at modest additional cost, subject to availability. Ask when you book and we will tell you what we have.

Do you work on electric cars?

Yes. We service and diagnose EVs, and the brakes, suspension, tyres and running gear still wear on an electric car just as they do on anything else.
